UMass Football News--November 15th, 2017

Adam Breneman has been selected as one of eight Mackey Award Finalists.

Mike Traini of "Fight Massachusetts" reports the second game in the Maine series has been rescheduled to 2021.

Another master move by AD Ryan Bamford which allows UMass to play Rutgers in 2019. The Scarlet Knights are a Northeast FBS team (and there is not a lot of them), plus they are beatable. Rutgers is 4-6 this year with a loss to Eastern Michigan. This is better than another trip to Penn State or West Virginia who is currently tied for second in the Big Twelve.
